The psychiatric nursing regulatory bodies in Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Alberta and British Columbia collaborate to set common standards for psychiatric nursing education in Canada.  They approve or recognize the education programs that lead to initial registration as a Registered Psychiatric Nurse (RPN).
